  In an Emergency

If you have a dental problem during surgery hours, please telephone the practice immediately and we will ensure that you're offered an appointment on a priority basis. Please make it clear that the matter is not routine and we will do our utmost to attend to you at the earliest opportunity.

What is a dental emergency?

A dental emergency is severe pain, bleeding or swelling. Broken fillings, cracked dentures and lost crowns do not constitute dental emergencies. These will be dealt with during normal surgery hours.

What to do in an emergency

Please follow our guidance for emergency arrangements during evenings and week-ends by calling our practice and following our answerphone instructions. This service is only available to registered patients of this practice. Call 01803 832 763. Listen to the message carefully. Be prepared to leave your contact details. The 'on-call' dentist will call you back. You may have to wait for upto 6 hours before a dentist calls you back.
